Cross-Border Fulfillment with FBA lets you sell to customers in Türkiye without having to send inventory to Türkiye. When you enroll in the program and create offers on Amazon.com.tr, Fulfillment by Amazon will use your inventory in EU fulfillment centers to fulfill orders across the border directly to the customer, through Amazon EU fulfillment network.
Customers pay import duties on the items they order. Returns go directly back to the EU and are subject to the FBA customer returns policy.
Orders appear in your Türkiye seller account as an FBA order on Amazon.com.tr.
Program fulfillment fees apply only to sales of products on Amazon.com.tr. The referral fee will be based on the Amazon.com.tr’s fee structure.
Not all items are eligible to sell through Cross-Border Fulfillment with FBA. To be eligible, a product must meet the following conditions:
The following help pages inform you on eligibility:
We continually monitor factors that can affect ASIN eligibility so that products are safe for customers to import. When an ASIN becomes ineligible, it's most likely because of a change in trade compliance regulations or Amazon’s risk assessment. In order to comply with Türkiye’s trade compliance regulations, you have to provide Turkish user manuals or guides, warranties, and after-sales services for your products.
In some cases, an ASIN is eligible for Cross-Border Fulfillment under a different fulfillment method, such as local FBA fulfillment or seller-fulfilled, but is not eligible for Cross-Border Fulfillment with FBA.That could be because the regulatory risk is high, or we have not yet assessed the risk, or because there are transportation constraints. Reasons for an item being high risk can include a requirement for extra documentation at the border and greater regulatory scrutiny or product restrictions in the customer’s country.
To enroll in Cross-Border Fulfillment, you must be registered for FBA in the EU and Türkiye, and have an EU Unified Account with FBA Export enabled. Once you enroll, your eligible FBA ASINs will be available for sale to customers in Turkey as soon as you create offers for them on Amazon.com.tr.
Follow these steps to enroll and begin selling:
With Cross-Border Fulfillment, you can sell your products in Türkiye.
You can create offers linked to your EU inventory in the following ways:
If you already have inventory of an FBA ASIN located in Türkiye, the ASIN will not be eligible for Cross-Border Fulfillment until you have sold through that local inventory. If you have existing FBA offers for Türkiye but don't have in-country inventory, those offers will begin to sell through Cross-Border Fulfillment at their existing price at the time you enroll in the program.
If you are enrolled in Cross-Border Fulfillment and decide you want to sell an ASIN locally instead, you can remove the ASIN from the program using Manage Your Inventory. Sellers cannot fulfill ASINs both locally and through Cross-Border Fulfillment at the same time.
Customer returns will be sent back to EU fulfillment centers and are subject to the FBA customer returns policy.
Cross-Border fulfillment ASINs will show a shipping fee on the product detail page both for Prime and non-Prime customers as these ASINs are shipped from abroad.
You can assign your existing Amazon EU charge and deposit methods to Türkiye. You can have the proceeds from sales in Türkiye deposited to your bank account in the EU or in your home country using the Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers.
The Featured Offer is affected by more than just price. For instance, your price may be lower but another offer might have faster delivery. For more information, go to How the Featured Offer works
If you are not looking at your offers on Amazon.com.tr through a customer account for this store, your Cross-Border Fulfillment offers will include shipping. This will affect the Featured Offer performance.
To see the local customer experience, use a Türkiye address as the default to your account.
Sellers must get approval from Amazon before listing in certain product categories. These approvals are store-specific, so sellers must apply in each store. To request approval to sell in a new product category, or check the status of an application, go to the Selling applications tool. To learn more, go to Categories and products requiring approval.
If you want to leave the program, go to Manage FBA Inventory in Seller Central for the Türkiye store and remove all of your FBA offers on Amazon.com.tr.
Your FBA inventory will remain for sale in the store where it’s located.
If you have listed through Build International Listings, you can remove your listings through Build International Listings.
You do not need to register for VAT in Türkiye because you will not store any inventory in Türkiye.
