Brand Registry And Manage Store
Hello, I opened a new store on Amazon. But I did not register my brand on Amazon. There is a section called "Manage Stores" on Amazon and when you enter there, it asks for a brand. Is it mandatory to open that store section? If not, where do the listed products appear?
Thank you

Hello @Seller_6DFcHAUgnpjUe
Stores are available for sellers enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry. You do not need to advertise on Amazon to create a Store.
If you do not have a brand enrolled in Brand Registry but have your own products listed under your brand, they will be linked in the 'Brand Name' section under the product title. Otherwise, the products you sell will be found under your own storefront that can be found by clicking through your seller profile!

No it is not Mandatory to open that store section.
If you have a Brand, Make sure you have a Brand Web site listing your products and the information since if you don't have Brand Registry, being able to point at the brand's web site for product information may be the easiest way to keep your Product Detail Pages accurate if for some reason amazon locks you out from editing them for "not being the brand owner" since unless you have brand registry, Amazon doesn't know if you are or are not the brand owner.
It can also help to have the GS1 UPC information match your Brand as well as the information about you listed on your Amazon account.
If your brand has a registered trademark with the USTPO, you can apply for brand registry. A brand registry account is free if you already have the registered trademark.
