Why am I charged more than $39.99/month when selling in both US and Canada?
Hi everyone,
I’m a new seller using the North America Unified Account. I understand that the Professional Selling Plan fee is supposed to be $39.99/month for the entire North American region (US, Canada, and Mexico).
However, I noticed that my monthly charges are higher than $39.99 — around $60+ when I’m selling in both the US and Canada. It seems I’m being charged additional fees from the Canadian marketplace.
Could someone clarify:
- Is Amazon charging a separate fee for the Canadian marketplace (in CAD)?
- Am I being billed twice because of misconfigured account regions?
- How can I check exactly what I'm being billed for and avoid duplicate fees?

I've reviewed your most recent fees under the professional plan for your US and Canada store, and I wasn't able to find $60 combined charge.
I did find that on 5/25/25 you were charged:
$27.20 in for the US market and in Canada - $20.42 before tax.
You can review the charges by going to the Payments --> Transaction View and then look for the "subscription fee" item line in each marketplace.

Is the charge for the Canada part in USD? Or Canadian$$? Because in CAD, based on the amount Connor mentioned for the US part, you would see a charge of around $26, plus any taxes. If you're adding a CAD amount to the US charge, you'll not get the correct amount, as the CAD is worth only about 73 cents (US) currently.
