Mod Assistance Please, Regarding Prime Exclusive Deal Suppression: This item has been flagged per Amazon internal policies.
I've tried to create a Prime Exclusive Deal for Black Friday for my product, and I keep getting this suppression message: "Suppressed. This item has been flagged per Amazon internal policies. Prime Exclusive Discount cannot be applied on this item as it has been flagged per Amazon internal policies. Please remove and add another product."
I've gone through the requirements for Prime Exclusive Discounts and Black Friday several times, cross-checking with my product. I do not see where the item is in violation, and no specific error messages indicate which criteria are not being met. Maybe I am missing something.
My ideal resolution is getting my item unflagged to participate in the deals. But I would at least like more information on why I'm getting this error or which criteria the item does not meet.
More information on my process:
- At first, I realized I might not have put the discount low enough due to past deals, so I adjusted it lower with no luck.
- We ship by merchant, so I checked our account health, and we meet the requirements.
- I made sure the item has free shipping as well.
- I thought it might be the product we are selling, which is technically restricted as it is a pesticide product. However, I see other pesticide/repellant products currently have a black Friday deal. Also, Amazon knows ours is exempt and is therefore not restricted. We've been able to submit this item for a Prime Day discount before with no issues.
I submitted a case to support, and the response was, "Sorry, this item has been flagged. Choose another product and try again. We have escalated to our internal team." I'm hoping one of you could assist.

Hi @Seller_tIKDFBSQRXcuj,
Thanks for the tag and for reaching out to us here on the forums. I reviewed the case and I realize the communication you received might have been a bit confusing and I apologize for that.
As stated by the support team, the deal is being flagged because the item falls into the pesticides category. I realize that alone does not explain much so I wanted to clarify that any items that are considered to be restricted products (such as pesticides or products that require registration in certain states) are ineligible for Prime Exclusive Discounts. You will find that eligibility criteria on the fourth bullet from the top on this help page.
For the reason stated above, the ASIN cannot be unflagged. I realize this is not the outcome you were hoping for, but I hope this helps provide a bit more of an explanation.
Let me know if you have questions.
Tatiana
