product safety issue

I am a seller with over 37,000 SKUs, and I have been operating on Amazon for more than two years. Recently, Amazon downgraded my account health due to repeated violations related safety compliance. However, upon reviewing this issue, I noticed that we did not receive any notifications regarding safety violations in the past year.

The recent violation notice covered six ASINs, all in the same notification, not separate ones. Technically, this should be considered one violation, not a repeated one. Now, Amazon is asking for accredited compliance documents. When I reached out to the brand, they informed me that they only manufacture wireless products, which are certified with FCC compliance, but not UL standards. The brand clarified that UL certification is not mandatory for selling these products in the USA, as they test their products in their own laboratories.

Since Amazon does not accept this reasoning, I have decided not to relist the affected ASINs and to remove the violation’s impact. However, there is no option to appeal or acknowledge the issue on Amazon’s platform.

This violation first appeared on October 1, and Amazon marked it as having "no impact." We attempted to resolve it at that time, but our ability to act was hindered by the hurricane in Florida, where our business operates. Due to power outages, we were unable to remove the ASINs by the deadline. On October 9, the violation was escalated from "no impact" to "repeated impact." We had actually deleted the ASINs before the October 9 deadline Amazon provided, but the power outage affected our ability to finalize the process on time.

I’ve contacted Account Health Support multiple times, but they have been unable to assist. We had already taken the necessary steps to resolve the issue, but the circumstances of the hurricane made it impossible to act in time.

Could you please advise on what steps we can take now, considering there is no option to appeal or acknowledge the situation?
