Change of company owner

Hello, we have taken over a company and later found out that there was an Amazon account associated with the business. After accessing the account, we learned that the verification process had not been completed. Because of this, we want to cancel the account without completing the verification and verify the company and owner with the new owner and name. However, since the account is suspended, it doesn’t allow us to do this. Also, we cannot open a new account under the company’s name as this is against the policy. Therefore, what exactly should we do in this situation? Could you please assist us?
