Anyone had issues trying to merge Australian account to current USA account?

I have been in touch with seller central for the last 4 weeks trying to sort this out, and I keep.on getting the same responses over and over, doesn't matter if it's a chat, a phone call or email. No one looks at any notes on the issue and I'm told over and over that's its a particular problem when it's clearly not. I'm told that I have two merchant accounts in the same seller account, which is not the case. I'm at my wits end with this, so frustrating that no one will help.
