I'm just wondering why some accounts can sell generic products but if I try and sell the same thing, I'm flagged and told I can't

You CAN create your own generic listing, if this product has no brand. No brand on the product, no brand in the title, no brand on the picture, no brand in the description.

Hello @Seller_9MI27SWtxzpox
Thanks for reaching out to Amazon Forums. Regarding selling generic products on Amazon, all sellers must comply with Amazon's policies which include:
- Having proper documentation (invoices, authorization letters if needed)
- Meeting product quality requirements
- Ensuring accurate product descriptions
- Following category-specific requirements
If you're receiving restrictions when listing generic products, this could be due to:
- The category requiring approval
- Product quality or safety concerns
- Missing required documentation
- Intellectual property considerations
Please review the "Selling generic products" help page in Seller Central for detailed requirements. If you need specific guidance about your products, contact Seller Support.
Kind regards,
Nano
