I am pretty new here and trying to list my first grocery product which is currently not available at Amazon US store, using product, brand and GTIN search function.

Going through the listing process, I added brand "XYZ", which led to the usual approval process, which was rejected twice.

Several grocery products of the same brand "XYZ" are already listed by other sellers, which I successfully matched.

I am buying directly form the manufacturer/distributor, who confirmed they did not register their brand "XYZ" at Amazon US. So probably another seller did register under the same brand, but different products of sections?

However, search results under brand "XYZ" list only products, which I have already matched successfully.

I submitted required documents, images, etc. during the listing process.

When asking seller support for reasons of the rejection, e.g. insufficient pictures, documentation, brand is already taken, etc., I received about 10 identical, generic replies, which aren't helpful at all.

“I understand you are concerned about 5461 error where you are unable to add a product and the explanation of the rejection.

We have completed our review of your application and by checking again we found that you are trying to create a listing for one of the brands which is currently restricted.

We are currently not accepting applications to create ASIN(s) for the provided brand name "XYZ"

I understand that many seasoned seller-colleagues were facing various issues with 5461 error code, so probably you may provide valuable insights.

I case any mods would like look into both cases 15698418161, 15700320101, which both refer to the same product.
