Acquriring Listing Approval for Restricted Category [Dietary Supplements]
Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone has any information on getting a listing approval for a product under 'restricted' category, specifically the 'dietary supplements' category.
As a health-startup, we are attempting to list one of our branded products for sale on Amazon US.
We have already been approved for the brand 'Catalog Authorization', however, the listing is not allowed to go live without additional approval. All of our attempts to get additional approval have been met with 'We are not accepting applications to at this time'.
We know recently Amazon US has changed it's policy on dietary supplement due to an FDA notice urging for more strict oversight, and as a company we are willing to provide all necessary documentation regarding safety and any tests if necessary.
We would like to know if there's any way to reach an Amazon associate, or a person with authority to approve under the restricted category. If any Amazon associate is able to help with our issue, we would be grateful.

Hi there @Seller_KCr3iVJ1MYVaL
My name is CR and wanted to hop in here. Please know the the seller forums are not a path to Seller Support or the compliance team for reviews of information. We don't have the same tools or visibility that they do on their end.
In the meantime, I wanted to drop a link to this thread that was created by a fellow community manager on the recent changes to the new requirements for dietary supplements that I think will give you some good information.

The bottom line is this. For month now Amazon has bees denying the sale of dietary supplements, Of course, Amazon does not come right out and say that they simply place a lot of unanswered reasons in the feedback sent.
Now with that said, when you went to your local commercial insurance agent, how easy was it to get a liability insurance policy? Did they need to see the COC's for all the products sold before assuaging you the policy? They should have.
Most likely Amazon feels it has enough dietary supplements already on the site and one more not really necessary.
In addition, having GNC selling all of their products on Amazon doesn't help either. They probably have a lot of clout when it comes to competitors on the site.
