Additional documentation required regarding your business establishment
I Have had my disbursements withheld until i provide the following documents
Thank you for your recent email. We require one or more additional documents to continue with your verification.
What documentation should I provide?
If you operate a limited company or partnership,
-- Provide evidence that you are physically operating your business from your provided address.
-- Provide a company registration extract or share allotment document from your local trade registry that lists all directors or partners of your company.
-- Provide documents that confirm the identity and place of residence of every director or partner who is listed in the company registration extract.
-- Provide evidence of any employees who reside in the country of your stated country of business establishment.
One of the main problems is that I'm a partnership not registered at company house, incidentally partnerships to not need to be registered, I have provided them with a 12 page document of my partnership when it was formed, However I think I may be talking to a robot
I run my business from home with my partner and do not currently employ anyone else
Can anyone help me with this as I'm seriously loosing the will to live

There are LOTS of us having to do the exact same thing, and it is proving to be a nightmare.
You do really need to just supply what they are asking for, but they don't make it easy, and I for one have been asked over and over to supply the same documents that I already have. I do know of someone else who is a partnership with her husband, and is struggling to prove it.

I have been asked the same last week. I have sent Driving License, Council Tax Bill, Suppliers Invoice, Bank Statement, Credit Card Statement. Warehouse Rates Bill and Utility Bill.
Just on the third run of sending them all again!!

Having sent in company bank statement, driving licences, company invoice, current financial year council tax bill, company details, link to Company's House.........we have just received another request for.....
Proof of address
• UK or foreign bank credit card or bank statement
• UK mortgage statement dated within the last 12 months
• UK council tax bill for the current year
• A letter or bill from a utility company less than 6 months old.
• A TV licence letter direct debit schedule. This should confirm the director’s name, address, and existence of a TV licence
Who is responsible for this shambles? Why should we spend a load of time sending the same information again and again because some muppet can't organise a "drink" in a brewery? Bonkers..........Amazon sort it out. Seller Support or AmazonVATman, WE ARE NOT VAT REGISTERED AND HAVE BEEN SELLING ON AMAZON SINCE 2009!!!!!!

We have been asked for this information too and sent all the documents over 2 weeks ago. The next day we received a message in "performance notifications" to say that they had received the documents but nothing since then.
Does anyone know how long it is likely to be before we get a response? Not too sure if we should chase it up or if that would actually slow down the process?
We would be grateful for any thoughts...

I'm on round two of sending in documents, I have been asked for different stuff to the first time around. They tend to do this on a yearly basis with me, its always for something different.

Hi all,
In the same boat as you. I've got the below from another forum:
Liz Barclay (small buysiness comissioner) is setting up a call for next week with the Department for Business and Trade to discuss this unlawful behaviour and how this is impacting sellers in the UK. If anyone wants to be included on the call, send Liz an email with your experience. liz.barclay (at) smallbusinesscommissioner.gov.uk

You are like me, a GENERAL Partnership and not a LIMITED Partnership which they are obviously getting confused with.
General partnerships are basically sole traders that need no registration at companies house whereas a Limited partnership does.
It is quite concerning that Amazon's internal "specialist" team do not grasp this basic information.
It is even more concerning that Amazon are pushing us for every bit of information about us personally and our business.
There is less information required to get a UK passport, a mortgage, a bank account, an HMRC tax and VAT account.
As Amazon is driven mainly by data and the sale of it, it is very worrying that they have enough information on us to steal our identities.
How secure is all this? After all, they are getting us to send the data by return email (which can be hacked) to very probably a foreign country data centre (probably India) who are paid peanuts, and can very easily steal our information and sell it.
This is the questions that need to be asked at Govt. level, how secure is Amazon treating our data and where is it going, who has access to it etc. ?!!
