Utility bill verification
Hello!
I'm facing a huge problem with utility bill verification process!
It has been 5 months since I'm submitting bill after bill to Amazon, But I still didn't pass the step.
Following are the replies I received for all the submissions from Amazon.
- We were unable to verify the documents that you provided.
- do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time.
One reply which gives me hope is this one (We could not verify the documents that you provided because the translation that you provided is not a notarized translation.)
Kindly help me find a NOTARIZED translation which is acceptable to Amazon.
Kind regards

You go in an official translation office and tell them that you need a NOTARIZED translation. This will be a paper with stamps and signatures. Then you scan ONE file with the original and the translation. Pay attention that the translation of your name matches EXACTLY how you have written it in "Legal entity" and how it appears on your bank account and tax documents.

Hi @PerfectChoiceODL,
Thank you for your post and sharing the information regarding your recent document submission.
You have already received some excellent advice from @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC. In the posts you have shared, you mention a registered translation office. This may not meet the requirements of having notarized documents, which could be the cause of the document rejection. If your original documents are not in one of our supported languages, you would need to provide both the original document as well as the notarized copy. The notarized copy will need to be in a supported language. You can find more information regarding this policy in the "Document Requirement" section of our Global seller identity verification policy.
When preparing a new submission, you will also need to consider the Utility bill document requirements. Specifically regarding the personal information on the bill matching what you have on file (as @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC mentioned). Additionally, the utility bill will need to be dated within the last 90 days in order to be considered valid.
Please continue to reach out the community for further assistance.
Regards,
Troy
