BuyBox not available if we raise price after launch
Hi,
We launched a product at a price lower than even the product break even cost to quickly get the product ranked and traction. After a few days and once we are ranked we are trying to increase the price of the product to have some profit margin, however it loses the buy box as soon as we try to increase it even by $0.10
I have been trying to get this sorted out by phone, email and chat with support with no luck. They always forward the case to an internal team and they don't do anything about it.
The price we are trying to set it to is still WAY lower than all competitors price. I assume the algorithm has an incorrect price target given that we launched the product at a way lower price, so we really need someone to take a look at it ASAP please.
i.e We have this case open ID 16852309861
There was also some cases were support asked us to keep the target price with no buy box so the internal team sees that we dont have buybox, but we cannot really be like 2 days with no buy box or we would lose all the sales and rank again.

It isn't just gaged by the price of the product. Any change is going to affect the eligibility. It's not a given that you will have it, ever. Amazon will not tell you specifics, but there is more than price and account health that attribute to the eligibility.
