Deactivated account - Supply chain issues with Distributor
I have been deactivated from selling on amazon due to a supply chain concern of selling “inauthentic items”. My supplier has been contacted and requested to provide documents to support my cause of getting my account reactivated. My supplier is stating they bought the item off of a auction with this reply to me as well…”I do not know I bought at auction .I do not need to give Amazon anything .I do not sell to amazon.I buy at auction and now the vendor is gone does not exhibit any more . I am not obligated to Amazon for anything .They do not and will not control who I buy from.” Hearing their reply now makes me suspicious of the distributor. Can I have suggestion as to whether this would be means to take legal action or have amazon assist me in taking legal action to get my account reactivated?

Amazon will not help you take any legal action. It is your responsibility to know where you source from. The "supplier" also does not have to answer to you or Amazon. The responsibility of knowing where you get your items from is a big deal on Amazon, sourcing from the right distributors/manufacturers that you are approved to sell from is how you sell on Amazon.

Sounds like you're done selling on Amazon. Amazon wants you buying from legitimate AUTHORIZED sources, and specifically mentions liquidation/auctions as not acceptable. It's your responsibility to ensure that everything is in order.
You MIGHT be able to take legal action against the distributor, but unless they mis-represented themselves as "Authorized Distributor" for the brand in question, I doubt that you will get anywhere; however, I am not a lawyer, you may wish to consult with one.
