Selling on an ASIN

Hi,

Can i sell on a ASIN with 1 seller. Although it is a private label, what if I email the ASIN owner to sell on there and they approve.

In the future, if they decide to IP claim me, could i use the emails as evidence. Also, some ASIN have more than 1 seller but amazon are the other sellers. Could i still sell on those ASIN's as well.

Simply put - no.

Your product should match EXACTLY to the product on the listing. Yours might look the same, but if it isn't the same brand, its a different product. If your product has an EAN/UPC - then you should search for that.

You need to create your own ASIN, which should either be set as Brand Generic, or create your own brand.

I doubt an email from the other seller would cover you if there was an IP complaint. And to be honest, the whole point of all these 'brands' that are on amazon is they want the listing to themselves! So they aren't likely to agree to let you sell on that listing in the first place.
