Hello,
We are new to the Handmade program and are looking to see if we can create a "Shop" even though we do not have Trademarked branding. We were forced to make all of our listings as "Generic" and when we try to create a shop to consolidate our listings under our company name, we get a "you do not have access" message.
Is there anything we can do to fix this?

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I will be happy to assist.
A brand store is a benefit that is unlocked once your have enrolled your brand in Amazon Brand Registry. You can find more on the Brand Stores page on the Amazon ads site.
Once that Brand Store is created, the ASINs of the brand are then connected to the store via the Brand Name attribute on the ASIN.
Unfortunately, since your ASINs have generic as their brand name, it is not possible to link these to a brand store and a brand name change from generic to a brand name is not supported. You can find more on this in the Amazon Brand Name policy help page.
I should also mention that Brand Stores are different than your your display name which you see under "Store Details," in your Selling Account information. The term "Store," in this sense is referring to the US Amazon Store (Or Canada, Mexico, etc.).
