I recently started selling on Amazon FBA and have a professional account with over 400 units in inventory. I tried launching advertising campaigns (ADS), but I'm not getting any impressions. When I reached out to the support team, they informed me that the issue is because I haven't secured the Buy Box yet.
Could you please share any recommendations or experiences you might have regarding this? Is the Buy Box truly essential for running ads, and what steps can I take to obtain it?

It's required for product ads, but i believe if you have a brand you can still run Sponsored brand ads without it.
As for getting the buybox, basically just make sure you aren't giving them a reason not to give it to you. So maintain a good account health / metrics, good voice of the customer etc and don't mess about with pricing too much.
It has become quite a volatile thing of late though.
