Unauthorized Book Sellers when I am the only Seller authorized by the Publisher

One of my best friends has a publishing company, and had me approved as the registered Brand Owner for selling a portion of his inventory of books (new) on Amazon USA. After listing my inventory (most of the ISBN's already in Amazon's catalogue), I began messaging obvious offenders/counterfeiters such as sellers shipping from Singapore, Vietnam, etc., and got several new book listings voluntarily removed.

But Amazon bots quickly flagged my account for suspicion of message spamming, so I abandoned that course, and decided to let Amazon's processes handle things. So, how does one report an unauthorized bookseller on Amazon? There's no ASIN that points to a unique product/seller, just an ISBN which lumps all sellers of a particular book title in the same basket. I saw a discussion where one publisher tried to report a seller by ISBN, but the bots replied that they can't act on it, because he is also reporting himself, as his listing is of course also under that ISBN.

Hoping there is a straightforward solution that I'm just not seeing. I'm kind of old and stupid.

Once you have a book listed on Amazon, anyone can sell copies of the book there. For example, if I came across a copy of one of those books, I would be able to list it under the first sale doctrine (you need to read up on this). Pirated editions are illegal on Amazon, but "Registered Brand Owner" is not applicable to books.

The only way to prevent this is for the publisher to make some kind of deal with Amazon to require invoices for anyone selling the book. As a seller, you can't do this.
