I am not getting paid for invoice orders

Hi, I recently noticed an issue with my payouts. On my last payment, I wasn’t paid my full balance because two orders were marked as “Invoiced.” I had around $100 pending under “Invoiced,” expecting it to be paid later.

Now that those invoices have cleared, I don’t see that $100 in my current balance to be paid out, and I also don’t see it under pending invoices anymore. It just seems to have disappeared.

I have decided to limit my item quantities to 1 to avoid large business orders that use invoices.

Can I opt out of selling with invoices?

Thanks

Hi @Seller_dB4RH3uEiBG04,

I'm sorry to hear about your missing invoice payments - let me help you track them down!

The good news is that Amazon guarantees payment for all invoice orders. In the "Payment failure" section at Pay by Invoice Policies, it states that "Amazon will bear the risk of non-payment of the invoice, and we will credit your account no later than 15 days after the invoice due date."

Here's where to look for your pending $100:

The "Payment Summary" page under Reports > Payments has a separate section just for invoiced orders. You'll find an "Open Invoices" view that shows all pending transactions, including due dates and amounts. This is mentioned in Pay by Invoice help page.

One important detail that's easy to miss: Invoice payments are processed separately from regular payments. The main Balance on your homepage only shows regular payments - for invoice payments, you'll need to check the Amazon Services LLC tab. This is explained in Payment Options.

Regarding limiting quantities to prevent invoice orders - I understand the thought, but according to the FAQ section at Pay by Invoice FAQ, sellers can't opt out of the program as Amazon wants to ensure business customers have access to all products.

If you've checked these areas and still can't find your $100, please reach out to Seller Support with the specific order numbers - they'll have more detailed information about those transactions.

Hope this helps you locate those funds!

Best regards, Michael
