Unable to change business country for US INFORM CUSTOMERS ACT

Amazon wants me to verify my information under US INFORM CUSTOMERS ACT. However, there is a mix-up at the back-end and I see my UK company details -that I entered for UK marketplace- in US marketplace. When I try to change the country, the system simply does not allow me to do so. It seems to be a technical glitch but the seller support is clueless. How can I solve this? Thanks.
