Error 5461 - Listing Issue for Approved Brand
Hey everyone,
I'm hoping to get some advice from sellers who have successfully resolved error 5461.
I already fixed error 5665 and got my brand name approved. Amazon sent me this confirmation:
"I'm glad to inform you that we've completed our review and we've accepted your application for ****** across all stores/countries. You can now create new ASINs using ******."
But now, when I try to list my t-shirts, I'm blocked by error 5461. I run a Print-on-Demand business with Printful (FBM), so I don't have UPC codes for my products.
I've opened multiple cases with Amazon support, but I only get automated, unhelpful replies.
For anyone who has been through this, especially other POD sellers: what kind of pictures and information do I actually need to provide to get approved? Do I need to order samples and photograph them? What specifically does Amazon need to see in the photos?
Thanks in advance for any experience you can share!

Hello @Seller_NOdraMz2pT7pY,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I will be happy to help. Generally speaking, brand names on apparel has been a topic of discussion several times in the forums. I know you are not talking about Brand Registry enrollment, but the same idea may apply when providing images of a brand and showing that it is permanently affixed. This is what you most likely were provided when dealing with Error code 5665, but here is an additional resource:
Take a look at the Amazon Brand Registry Application Guide, page 7 (#3 of section 3.5 Product information - product images) provides some images and more specified direction on apparel branding requirements.
I hope this helps in the interim and if you need further assistance, please provide at least 1 of the case ID's you opened with Seller Support so I can dig in a bit more.
Best, Dougal
