What happens if I do not take action?

If you do not take action or provide requested information before these 60 days, your listings and the ability to disburse funds will be temporarily deactivated until verification has been completed.

If it has been more than 60 days since we first contacted you, your disbursements and listings might have already been disallowed and will remain deactivated until the requested information or documentation has been provided and your account has been verified.

What type of document do I need to provide?

Business verification documents:

-- Provide one of the following documents issued by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) that is dated within the last year:

--> Class 2 National Insurance Contributions (NICs) Bill

--> Online VAT Certificate

--> Self-Assessment notice to complete a tax return

--> Letter from HMRC confirming the sole proprietorship's unique taxpayer reference (UTR) number

--> Self-assessment Statement

--> Short Tax Return

--> Letter acknowledging business tax registration, addressed to the sole proprietor

--> Pay As You Earn and Self-assessment

--> "Welcome to Self Assessment" letter confirming your UTR number

If you are unable to provide any of these documents, you can request a "Confirmation of Unique Taxpayer Reference" letter by calling the HMRC and asking for the Self-assessment Department. The letter may take two weeks to arrive by mail.

How do I resolve this situation?

Ensure that the document meets the following criteria:

-- The document must show the business name and address, as well as the provider’s logo.

-- The document must be dated within 12 months.

-- The document must not be a screenshot.

-- The document must be in one of our supported languages. The supported languages are English, Chinese, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, French, Turkish, Polish, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Tamil, Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese. If the original document is not in a supported language, provide a copy of both the original document and a certified translation.

How do I submit the required documents?

To continue with your account verification, follow these steps:

1. Go to "Identity Information":

3. Click "Save."

4. Click "Submit for verification."

Received this notification this morning. Not a big deal I thought, I have recent UTR and couple of other docs from their list.

But when I followed the link, they actually required me to re-upload POWER TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE COMPANY (aka Letter of Authorizatin).

Slightly confused, it also highlights that document shall be not older than 17 June 2024. I didn't know these letters have expiration date?

And why is that document not even listed in the email notification?
