My account was accidentally closed. An invoice is requested from me for a product that I have never sold before. I have never sold the product. amazon auto-rejects my answer. My account has been closed for weeks.

You state that you "never sold the product"

If you listed on a Nike detail page, or created a Nike detail page, you are in violation whether or not you had a sale.

Did you list anything similar and use Nike as a keyword?

The other possible source of trouble is old inactive listings where the detail page has been hijacked and altered.

This would also be viewed by Amazon as attempt to sell Nike.

Do you have an avenue of appeal?

As @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6blsays if you listed on it, then it doesn't matter if you had a sale. Amazon expects you to only list items you have and to have invoices for those items.

From your post, we can see that your account is currently deactivated due to authenticity (Nike brand).

You mentioned never selling the product, however, if this product was listed in your inventory at the time of the suspension/violation you may be required to provide valid invoices. When listing the product in your inventory, regardless if a sale has take place, you are listing this as an offer from your store.
