Amazon is recommending sponsored campaigns for adult items.
I was under the impression that Amazon does not allow sellers to create sponsored ads for adult products. But in my seller dashboard, Amazon is recommending that I create sponsored campaigns for two of my adult/sexual wellness listings.
Has policy changed? If not, why is Amazon trying to lure me into violating policy?

Amazon gives you those notifications automatically.
Basically, Amazon wants you to advertise everything...so they can make the most money.
If you try to advertise adult items, you will not be able to. Amazon does not allow it...so you are not at risk of violating policy. I suggest you ignore that notification in your seller dashboard and...while you are at it...ignore the rest of the notifications as well.

Adult products are not eligible for sponsored ads. This help page provides a list of prohibited products in relation to sponsored ads in section 4.2.
