Did amazon charge me 8$ for one coupon that was redeemed? the product was 28.88. I put an 8$ coupon, did they charge me the discount that the customer received? I want to make sure this is actually what im seeing.

You are reading this correctly. If you set a coupon for $8 off then you will be charged $8 for every redemption. In this case, it looks like you had two coupons clipped (meaning two buyers each added one of your items to their car), but only one ended up purchasing. You will not be charged for clipped coupons, only redeemed coupons.
