Cannot list any products – “Your account does not qualify” error when applying

Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue on my Seller Central account. Currently, I am unable to list any products. Whenever I try to apply for approval to list a product, I get the message:

“Your account does not qualify.”

I’m not sure what exactly is causing this, and I couldn’t find any clear explanation in Seller Central.

If I can’t sell anything at all, this account becomes completely useless for me.

Has anyone experienced this before? What steps did you take to resolve it?

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

Pretty much what I am dealing with. It's weird, because i have a few friends that have just opened up their amazon seller accounts within the past month or 2 and they are ungated in many brands that my account is not qualified for. Super frustrating and does not seem to be any solution.

Selling Partner Support is unable to clarify or give more details regarding these decisions. Learn more via the Products that require approval help page.

I would recommend that you check with the brand owner to give you permissions to sell on behalf of the brand in Brand Registry. This will allow for potential ability to list those products.

I’m trying to gather info to see if there’s any common pattern between all accounts affected. Do you mind if I ask:

  • Do you see the message on many different products or just on a specific one?
  • Are you using a prep center? If yes, where is it located?
  • Are you currently living in the US or elsewhere?

Maybe if we all compare notes, we can figure out what’s going on. Any info you can share would really help. Thanks!
