Another seller made a counterfeit complaint

We are dealing with another seller who has submitted two Intellectual Property Complaints, claiming to be brand owner of product and claiming our product is counterfeit. They are just a seller of the product and there are 2 other sellers on the listing also. The product is manufactured by another company. Anyone deal with this ? We provided an invoice of product we purchased from an authorized distributor and Amazon reactivated our listing. Now they have submitted another false counterfeit complaint, which has blocked us from the ASIN. For Amazon Mods, our case number is 16876458291

In short, the other seller is not the brand owner and appears to wanna limit competition.

Edit: We went to brand registry and appears we can create our own ASIN of the brand name. Wonder if the other seller did this same thing and has "rights" on the ASIN ? Any guidance is appreciated.

A couple of questions here, how do you have proof it was another seller who reported you and not the brand itself? I've noticed quite often Amazon doesn't accept invoices from distributors any longer. They say they do but most often they aren't approved. Unless you are the actual brand owner or have a Letter Of Authorization from the Brand owner you will be deactivated. Trying to sell another brand's product under your own brand name will also get you deactivated.

We submitted another case, 16877112531, for other policy violation and they went nowhere and is closed by Amazon.

In general Amazon won't give any details regarding internal reports of violation of Amazon policy and in addition Amazon will not indicate why you are or are not approved to list a given ASIN. I would recommend you submit an appeal on your Account Health Page and only provide the information that demonstrates that your products are authentic. If your appeal is rejected I will reach out and see what escalation options exist. Thank you for your understanding.
