Account Suspended For Listing We Removed
- We are a seller for 10 plus years on Amazon.
- Monthly Sales over $250,000 a month.
- Use a third party developer ChannelAdvisor (App ID: 436230123168) now they go by Rithum. To handle and be our source of truth for large Listing Management.
- Increased our Listing catalog to over 500,000 listings with ChannelAdvisor
- 2018 used ChannelAdvisor to post ASIN’s B07N1XDS8M, B07N1XL8GC, and B07N1XP7N6
- 2020 removed and archived the listing within ChannelAdvisor
- September 11th, 2023 - Get deactivated from Amazon for ASIN B07N1XDS8M
- Amazon claims this listing was in our inventory at the time of violation and in violation of restricted product policy.
- ChannelAdvisor states they removed the listing. Amazon claims the opposite.
Even with proof from ChannelAdvisor that they removed the item based on all our settings. Amazon only claims we “evasively listed multiple restricted products.”
- In 2018 these were not restricted products.
- Through a verified third party we removed the ASIN’s
We were not evasive. We have attempted to explain this holistic situation to Amazon and it's as if they stopped when we posted ASIN B07N1XDS8M. Has anyone ever encountered a situation like this?

You had 500,000 active ASINs listed on Amazon? Even if it was 1,000 I can't see how you can avoid conflicts with Amazon policy/requirements or the brands themselves. The scale is just too much. This is especially true if it's managed through a third party app that has limited pull with the brands and Amazon.
I looked for the ASIN but couldn't find it.

Hi @Seller_A0u3HmOdAljUS,
Thank you for your post. I understand you are dealing with a deactivated account due to a restricted product issue.
In order to better assist, we would need to know the exact reason for the deactivation. When the suspension first took place, you would have received a performance notification stating the reason for the deactivation as well as details on the path forward. Please share that message here in the thread (with personal information removed) so we may better assist you.
Typically in these scenarios, you will need to provide proof that no such violation took place. In this instance, "evasive" would usually refer to the title or some other identifier within the listing such as a bullet point would have wording or punctuation intended to directly circumvent our Restricted Policy violation.
The other possibility is that additional ASINs were created in direct response to a listing being taken down, and the subsequent wording of that new listing is changed to purposefully avoid being flagged for a violation.
In your scenario, I would focus on the wording of the listing itself as well. When you were using the third party, did they automatically create the wording of the listing, or was that manually input. If so, how can you show how the wording complied with our policy and was not created with evasive wording? You will want to be looking for anything that was either added to or fundamentally changed the title (or bullet point) of the listing. This is what you will need to show to have a successful appeal. With this in mind, what information have you shared so far? Also, if the appeal was not accepted, were you given a specific reason as to why? You would have received a separate performance notification with this information.
Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.
Regards,
Troy

Man I feel for you. I barely have around 500 ASINS, probably more like 200 that is active the other is inactive and it seems like everyday I am getting a new restricted product violation... Seems like Amazon's bot is just flagging everything and anything and leaves it up to you to prove it isn't going against any policy.

Hire a third party consulting company with ex-Amazon employees to help you put together a plan to get back on. Some of these companies have a very high success rate.
