FBA Changes This Month - Is New Scheme Enrollment Automatic?
Clearly, I acknowledge that the current initiative of the ''Small & Light'' program is being abandoned and substituted with an alternative approach. Amazon has ceased accepting new product enrollments into the ''Small & Light'' program, leaving me with the option to transition ASINs to the standard FBA model only.
My concern lies in whether Amazon will automatically reclassify all ASINs initially categorised under the Small and Light program into the new program, including any other FBA ASINs that meet the updated criteria.
Alternatively, this reclassification may apply solely to FBA small and light items.
I pose this question because if the reclassification is not automatic, I will need to wait until I can enroll these new products into the new program.

It is Automatic Enrolment. Any product £9.99 or less which meets the eligibility criteria in terms of weight and dimensions will automatically get the low price rates
On the new low rates program delivery speed is the same as standard FBA so there is no need for seller to enrol or un-enrol from the program. There is no alternative standard FBA. Everyone will automatically be charged the 'low' rates.
Obviously for anyone who currently uses Small and Light there are some hefty price increases which could impact margins.
Faster delivery speed is the main benefit of the new program but many Small and Light SKU's get next day delivery anyway.
The only other benefit I can see is that SKU's which are currently in the Small and Light program will now likely be eligible for EFN under the new program. Currently EFN does not support SKU's enrolled into Small and Light
