The description for my handmade product isn't showing up correctly.
I've already edited the listing, but the changes haven't been updated.

Correct. In Nov and DEC, Amazon slows way down on accepting new sellers, new brands, new products, and listing changes. Nothing to do with you personally, it is just to prevent buyers from exposure to problems that may or may not happen with these changes. In January, things will pick up again.
In the past, savvy scamming buyers would see the change on a page or updated photo of the product they purchased, and claim their product was not as described. Having a long 3-month long return period cave buyers a long time to use the product then file a claim. By allowing no page changes, this scam is prevented.
