Over $7000 worth of used textbooks lost in transit (MEDIA SELLERS BEWARE)
155 Used textbooks valued at over $7000 lost in transit, contacted seller support and was prompted to create a case proving inventory ownership, however if you are a used media seller like i am we buy many of our items at garage sales, and library sales, THEREFORE we dont have ANY receipts or invoices proving that we purchased this media, seller support said there was nothing they could do. this was well over a months worth of income for our small business just gone.

Unfortunatley this is the reality of selling through FBA now - without invoices or an LOA you are out of luck if the units go missing.
How long have they been missing in transit? I would guess you can file a missing mail request with the carrier - it's likely they will be found and continue on their way.

Do they show they were delivered to the warehouse, or just straight up lost by the carrier?

Yeap, it sucks! Amazon has really slid into the dark abyss lately. Another change coming on Dec. 20th to how books go in. This should be another CLUSTER........

Oh I am so sorry! This is on your carrier though....hopefully they will show up. I had a whole shipment of books delivered, checked in, and then never received, 3 months ago. Sent invoices, and Amazon still hasn't responded. UGH! Really thinking about going back to merchant fulfilled....so sad as FBA was so good for so many years.

If the reality is that Amazon effectively disclaims any responsibility for used items, shouldn't they provide some support for sellers who use this business model?
What I mean is, couldn't they give FBA users a way to buy insurance for the retail value of some shipments from within Send to FBA?
Send to FBA is already so sophisticated, and from my perspective works so well, why couldn't they do this? They are just passing along shipping costs from partnered shippers anyway.

I have same problems. Check if the logistics tracking number points to your warehouse address.
It seems that usps is stealing the seller's goods.
They only give 120 days to check.

Hello @Seller_LVwH095yeMN79, I just looked at your shipment and am happy to see that it was received without discrepancies. Can you confirm this on your end?
