Can we get our deserved disappearing keyword rankings back?
Dear Amazon Seller Support,
Since October 28th, our asin suddenly lost its ranking for all important keywords, causing it to no longer appear in search results.
We opened many cases and contacted customer support several times. The response we got was that there was no problem with our listing links, and support kept telling us over and over again that we needed to optimize our listing messaging, but that didn't help at all!
At the same time, we noticed that many other sellers on the forums are experiencing similar problems, so we think it may be a system issue on Amazon's side rather than our listings. We kindly ask the Amazon team to contact us and help us resolve this issue as soon as possible.
This has greatly affected our sales! It's not fair for us to limit our searches for no reason and not even give us a chance to complain.
Can this issue be taken seriously and resolved?
We shouldn't be given a perfunctory reply to a customer support template, we should be taken seriously!
Thanks so much!

Hi @Seller_BlAbpHT4hivGx,
While you’re waiting for a response from the moderators, I thought I’d share some observations I noticed while analyzing your ceiling fan (ASIN: B0CTCFNNWZ). These adjustments might not lead to an instant fix, but I’d bet they could result in meaningful improvements to your conversion rates, sales, and keyword rankings over time.
Ambiguities
- Dimensions: Under "Product Information" > "Product Dimensions," it says "19”L x 19”W x 7”H," but image #2 mentions "21 inches design." This inconsistency might confuse potential buyers.
- Control Method: The listing states "App, Remote, Touch" under "Control Method," but image #1 shows "App, Remote, and Wall Switch." The mismatch between "Touch" and "Wall Switch" could raise questions about the actual product features.
- Installation Simplicity: Under "Product Information," the listing states "Assembly Required No." However, don’t all ceiling fans require some level of assembly, such as mounting bracket installation or blade attachment?
Marketing Claims to Review
- Light Brightness: Image #2 claims "4200 Lumen Brighter Light" compared to competitors’ "1600 Lumen Light." For a 20-watt LED (as listed under "Product Information"), achieving 4200 lumens would require an efficiency of 210 lumens/watt, which far exceeds current commercial LED capabilities (typically 100-150 lumens/watt).
- Noise Levels: Image #6 claims "25 dB Ultra-quiet" while delivering "3125 CFM" airflow. For context, 25 dB is about as quiet as a whisper, which seems unlikely for a fan with substantial airflow. Customers familiar with fans may doubt the combination of ultra-low noise and high airflow.
- Coverage Area and Airflow: Claims like "3125 CFM," "103 FT Max Distance," and "169 sqft coverage" in images #3 and #4 are ambitious for a 19-inch fan. Achieving 3125 CFM with such dimensions would require extremely high RPM, which may conflict with the "ultra-quiet" claim.
- Customer Satisfaction: Image #6 states "99.9% customers say: 'So quiet — can't hear any noise at all!'" A near-perfect satisfaction rate like 99.9% is extremely rare for any product or feature and might seem exaggerated without supporting evidence or clear context.
These points may help reduce ambiguity and improve customer trust, which could positively impact conversion rates and, by extension, your keyword rankings. While none of this directly addresses the ranking issue you mentioned, improving the customer experience might lead to better performance overall.
Hope this helps while you’re working through the situation!
Kind regards, Michael

Hello @Seller_BlAbpHT4hivGx,
Thanks for posting here. At this time there isn't any technical problem internally and the system is working as expected. Amazon does not provide additional details regarding the workings of Amazon's internal algorithms.
