This is regarding a North America Unified Account
I have tried to synchronize all my product inventory with photos etc. from my USA Amazon handmade account onto Canada and Mexico with no success whatsoever. I have tried uploading an Excel file and used BIL {Build International Listings} to no avail.
Maybe I am downloading and uploading the wrong Excel files?
Do I have to download an inventory report file first, and if so which one do I have to download? There are so many options. Inventory Report, Active Listing report, All Listings report etc?
Do I then populate the info onto an excel file from Menu>Catalog>Add Products via Upload>Choose a template to get started
There are 4 options, Get Listing Loader, Download Product Spreadsheet, Get Price & Quantity Template or Get Product Template. Which one do I use?
I read that BIL does not create the product listings but only keeps track of inventory. One would think it does integrate all the necessary features.
This is very confusing and frustrating
Anybody who can guide me would be extremely helpful.
thanks

Social media is a great way to promote handmade sellers items. I have been asking for several months, why the Facebook Amazon Handmade page has not had any updated posts in over 2 years? The page is showing over 1 million followers.

Don't expect much participation. THIS ISN'T EVEN POSTED IN THE HANDMADE GROUP.
Is this by design? I just saw it today as I frequent that forum above the others.

Can you provide us any guidance on what we are supposed to do with the new FBA reimbursement policy as handmade sellers? The estimates they are providing are based on the assumption that we are importing our items, not making them ourselves, so they are very low. How best to dispute these assumed prices without getting shut down by bots saying that our base costs are too expensive?

@Jameson_Amazon A post for handmade sellers that is NOT posted in handmade forums. AND... No notification to handmade sellers about this Q&A session yet again! I guess you really didn't want any questions to answer!
The only reason I knew about this post was because @Seller_gwzuNYC3ogYNo made a post IN handmade forums to direct handmade sellers here.
We even gave feedback on this EXACT thing in the last Q&A and not one of those suggestions was taken into consideration or implemented.

Question #1: Where, beyond Amazon, is Amazon Handmade discussed/promoted by the Amazon partner team? As noted by another seller, there has been NO ACTIVITY to social media channels (Amazon Handmade on Facebook and/or Instagram for 2 years). I understand that Meta is potentially a competitor of Amazon, but not participating in platforms used by buyers hampers the knowledge that Handmade even exists at Amazon. Seeing that nothing has been added to the official account leads one to believe that Handmade is actually dead.
Question #2: Can the partner team provide an update on the product type Guild to standard Amazon migration project?
Question #3: It is March, nearing the END of Q1, any newsletter to discuss upcoming things in Q2 as obviously it is too late to discuss Valentine's Day and any prep for St Patrick's Day? The Handmade Hub, remains unchanged/untouched, and Q4 2024 is the last activity. Preparations for holidays require being ahead of the quarter in which they fall not behind.

Some Handmade brands have full brand registry.
Some Handmade brands have a limited brand registry waiver.
Many Handmade brands have neither.
"Showcasing" our artistry is limited to a listing or perhaps store page(s) in a sea of millions of listings on Amazon.
Etsy has a portion of its webpage that is "Shop the Look" that contains several pictures with handmade items used together with links to the makers pages.
Any plans for ANYTHING like that especially since Handmade is no longer a "department" on the department pull down on Amazon.com? (it still exists as a filter in search but there is no "department" without "searching" for handmade)

Dear Amazon Team,
Hello! Our team has been eager to sell our handmade products on the Amazon platform. However, due to our unfamiliarity with the relevant rules and procedures, the product listings we created previously have all been hidden, which is quite disappointing for us. Currently, our handmade products have been produced in batches, yet we don't even have the chance to showcase them to buyers. Therefore, we are urgently hoping to understand the following questions so that we can better comply with the rules and successfully sell our products.
Question 1: Why does an account still face reviews after successfully joining the Handmade program? Is it related to the quality of the listings or whether there has been a successful sale?
Question 2: If a review is not passed after joining the Handmade program, could you provide some specific standardized suggestions?
For example, when facing a review:
- Is it mandatory to submit a video with English subtitles?
- Are there specific requirements for the video's quality and duration?
- Must the products in the video be identical to those we first applied for in the Handmade program? For instance, if it's handmade rings but in different styles, would that be acceptable?
Question 3: What kind of content does the review team expect to see in open-ended questions like "Are there any additional details you would like to provide?"
Question 4: Once the review is passed, will the account have long-term selling qualifications for the Handmade program as long as there are no violations?
We look forward to your reply and appreciate your support and assistance with our team.
Best regards,
Brianna

What are you going to do to stop Foreign companies that pretend to be handmade from selling in Handmade?
Seller_ALZGvM9vhFf03
We sell lots of custom items. They are all "handmade" to a certain degree. We applied for a "handmade program" over a year ago and have no heard any response. It seems that any links to a handmade program are removed from seller central as well. When we are trying to login from handmade website - we get redirected to seller central. We cant find any response from Amazon Handmade team denying our application or requiring additional details.
Thank you
