Help with Dangerous Goods Classification – "Unable to Classify" Issue
Hi everyone,
We are about to wrap up production for our products and are getting ready to ship. To stay ahead, we have already uploaded the appropriate SDS sheets for the ASINs in question. The manufacturer provided these SDS sheets, and they have successfully cleared through Amazon with other brands.
However, I am running into an issue with one of the products. It is coming back as “unable to classify.” I re-uploaded the exact same SDS sheet, but the issue persists. Since I just retried uploading for this ASIN, I understand it might take up to 48 hours for Amazon to give a detailed response or look into this matter.
That said, I want to stay on top of this because we are almost ready to ship. I would like to make sure everything stays on schedule and avoid any hiccups before we send out the shipment. I have double-checked the SDS sheets against those used by other brands, and they are identical.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? Could there be something specific causing this, even though the SDS cleared for other products?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
