The Beauty Edit
Hi, I’m currently setting up my Amazon store for my brand “The Beauty Edit,” which focuses on makeup, skincare, and fragrance. I’ve reached the sections that ask for “About Me” and “About My Business,” and I’d like to make sure I’m entering the correct information.
I’d appreciate guidance on:
– Where to enter my personal story as the founder
– Where to write the brand/business description
– Whether there are character or format limits
– If these sections can be edited later
– And whether brand registry is required before completing this part
Thank you in advance for your support!

Hello @Seller_3PrOqcqwWeY78,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I am happy to address your questions. The best place for what you are wanting to do is Brand Story and this does require enrollment in Amazon Brand Registry first.
Here are a few resources as you take next steps. Please review the Amazon Brand Registry Application Guide for the full application process and what is needed to successfully enroll. And the A+ content help page (specifically the section A+ Brand Story content) that discusses the different templates.
Also, you can update your brand story at anytime via the A+ Content Dashboard and after successful Brand Registry enrollment, I recommend the Complete Guide to A+ Content for Brand Owners.
I hope this fully answered your questions and please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best, Dougal
