KYC verification has blocked my account and support are no good

KYC verification has blocked my listings and payment even though verification has been completed

the verification was to prove I am still in the UK (annoying as I have to do this every year) but this time everything is still blocked

Support say my account is active so they cannot do anything

2 weeks now any ideas?

We are experiencing exactly the same issue. We haven't received any disbursements since February, and our funds are being held as well.

Each time we pass the verification process, the payout is initiated. However, after 2–3 days, we're asked for additional information, and the transfer fails again.

It feels like the verification process is being deliberately prolonged to hold the funds for as long as possible.

We uploaded the most recently requested documents three days ago and are now waiting for the next performance notification. :(

I see that in another thread this has been resolved and you have since been been verified.

It is however worth pointing out that your money can get held on a "we are working on it" basis, as while they are working on KYC there are not only within their rights to do so, but compelled to do so. It is a legal requirement regulated by The Finanical Conduct Authority. If Amazon do not comply or are not satisified with your information provided, then they are obligated to withold funds. If they do not hold funds and it is later established you are money laundering, then Amazon become liable. You would struggle to be successful in any claim whilst KYC is under review.

As inconvenient as it is, it is law. And yes, they can "legally hold peoples money", moreover they are required to until they are satisifed they have acted with due diligence.

Given that you have mentioned in another thread about Amazon questioning you being UK based company, this adds another level of complexity that needs to be resolved.

As another seller advised on that thread, if you are UK based you should consider mediation first.
