400 units stuck in FC Processing for 80+ days, Low Inventory, Three cases ignored

Well it appears I'm not alone, a forum search for stuck fc processing returns many threads like this one.

400 units delivered to HMD3 on 12/12/24, been stuck in FC Processing for 80 days now. Three cases with no progress - 17090618751 closed no answer, 17152156041 closed no answer, now finally escalated to Felisa case 17288960041 and the same basic response and stuck in pending. Our items are expiration dated so this is starting to become an issue. SS tells us to let stock run out and they will be shipped to a different FC and become available, but we've already been down to 0 units available and that did not happen, so we were forced to send more units. We are still very low on inventory. Option 1 is to go out of stock on our #1 item, hoping the problem is magically solved the second time, obviously not great for a small business with five employees. Option 2 is to keep sending new units, while $20,000 of inventory ages towards its expiration date, again not a great option for a small business.

Any ideas, or help moderators? I'm starting to lose hope.

@Seller_btw1hdzhQ4dCW did you end up getting your case solved in the thread below (locked and I can't post on it)? @Dominic_Amazon?

Just got this answer back... How is this "working as intended" for an expiration dated product, and why is it only this one ASIN out of the 30 or so I make/sell that seem stuck in this weird limbo?

Hello from xxxx. I understand your concern and want to share with you how I determine that the system is functioning as intended.Your minimum replenishment quantity for xxxxxxx is set to 1. This means that the system will send messages whenever the algorithm detects that at least one unit can be sent. The selection of the Fulfillment Center (FC) to ship the customer order is determined by the customer's location. Your inventory is spread across 80 fulfillment centers with the bulk of your units in HMD3. We use an algorithm to help us place your inventory in a location that is closest to the majority of your customer base. In this case, when looking at delivery time for orders placed from customers in the same zip code as HMD3, the earliest the order can arrive is same day. For more information on Same-Day Delivery, please use xxxxremoved :FBA Same-Day Delivery xxxx Your concern is not going without notice. We can take action when there has been 24 hours of zero available inventory, or you create a removal request to remove all the units of xxxxx order to improve the Selling Partner experience, I will be submitting coaching for the actions conducted by the previous Support Associates. The transfers were cancelled because they did not meet the requirement for manual transfer and our Associates should have informed you of this when your request was received.

I have similar situation where ALL my units suddenly went from available to FC processing, and we are now out of stock. Support only gives us canned response.

Can you please help have a look?

Be persistent. Don't give up. There is a huge variation in the effectiveness of moderators on this forum. So if you don't succeed the first time, keep at it.

Amazon's algorithmns are so messed up. The inventory stuck in FC Processing is an ongoing issue! It get resolved on one SKU and shortly afterwards, happens on another SKU. We have styles showing out of stock, but there is inventory stuck in FC PROCESSING on that SKU....and you get charged a low inventory fee. ...makes no such and is just a rip off.

Wish I could be more encouraging, but Amazon FBA is a very broken system. My best advise is to be persistent. Amazon counts on you to give up on your own inventory.
