FBA Remote Fulfillment from US to Canada for Silver Jewelry
We expanded from selling on Amazon EU to Amazon US this year and discovered that Amazon offers the option to sell US FBA stock in Canada and possibly Mexico, which would be great.
However, it seems that Amazon is not allowing us to sell our US stock in Canada due to the error message on all our ASINs: "ASINs have import/export restrictions that prevent the product from being sold in the selected country."
We sell silver jewelry, and I haven’t found any import restrictions for silver jewelry in Canada. I also reached out to Amazon support (Case: 17187842711 ) but only received a generic response stating that restrictions exist.
Has anyone encountered this issue or knows what might be causing it?

Hi @Seller_bopmyWhbgIIOx,
While looking through the help pages, I noticed that this page mentions sellers must comply with Canada's Precious Metals Marketing Act when listing jewelry. While this might not fully explain your error message, I wanted to mention it since it's specifically about jewelry sales in Canada.
Kind regards, Michael

Hey @Seller_bopmyWhbgIIOx,
The information provided by Seller Support in that case is accurate. Certain ASINs are ineligible for Remote Fulfillment due to restrictions within Canada. Unfortunately nothing further can be done at this time, my apologies.
