Need guidance to FBA

Hi guys,

I’m looking for some guidance to help me figure this out. I’ve been doing FBM 2.5 yrs, but I really want to switch to FBA. I have a question that might seem silly, but I’m confused about the requirements. Some people say FBA needs 10 units, but does that mean 10 different products or 10 units of the same product? I’ve heard mixed answers, and I’d appreciate some clarification—no judgment, please.

I also notice people using the AMP app and sourcing items from retailers like Ross, Marshall’s, or TJ Maxx, even though Amazon doesn’t seem to allow it. They send their receipts to FBA and don’t seem to run into issues. Is this a good approach?

Lastly, I have 9 packs of EOS lip balms and submitted a letter with receipts directly from EOS, but they weren’t accepted. I’ve tried multiple times and am starting to feel discouraged. Can someone please offer advice? Thanks in advance!

It used to be that you could buy from local stores and sell those items on Amazon. This is called retail arbitrage. It is no longer allowed on Amazon. That doesn't mean that some sellers aren't still doing it.

There is no minimum requirement for the number of units of any asin that you can send to Amazon FBA.

Amazon is looking to for you to have good relationships with brands such that you will be buying directly from them and have an invoice, not a receipt from their retail site. In many cases you also need a letter of authorization from the brand seeing you have permission to sell the item on Amazon. This does not guarantee that Amazon will accept it, but it is much more likely.

there are a lot of amazon monitors out there. If you want to pay someone you will find. If ever possible don't give them a "User permission" for your seller account. Or you can learn yourself:
