Our product allows a user to save money and make their own x instead of buying it from the store. Am I allowed to say "Save Money" in an image? Somehow there is a red flag in the back of my head that its against Amazon TOS?

I would not recommend yo put this in a picture. Sounds like something that should be in the bullet points.

I understand that you have questions around adding a comment to your images regarding the product saving your customers money. I would advise that you review the Image Requirements help page. If you decide to post this in the image or bullet points, you must be able to prove this claim.
Per the Bullet Points help page:
Avoid any subjective, performance, or comparative claims, unless they are verifiable on the product packaging. Do not compare your product to competitor brands
