Brand Registry should be strong enough to effectively protect the rights of brand owners

Dear Amazon Seller Support,

We are currently experiencing an issue where third-party sellers are piggybacking on our ASINs. These sellers often undercut our prices, sometimes by as little as 0.09 cents, they win the Buy Box, despite being new sellers with zero feedback. While Amazon has informed us that multiple factors determine Buy Box eligibility, these sellers can still win the Buy Box with little to no feedback. They simply undercut prices without offering any additional value or customer support, which damages our ASIN listings and undermines the hard work we've invested in building our brand.

As brand owner and authorized distributors, we face significantly higher costs, including expenses for creating A+ content, advertising, and providing technical support. We have dedicated considerable time and resources to establishing our brand and gaining customer trust. In contrast, these third-party sellers do not face the same challenges and can afford to drastically lower their prices.

We are not interested in engaging in a "price war," as this could harm the long-term value of our brand. Lowering prices only benefit these third party sellers, who does not provide proper customer support. As a result, buyers may not receive the service they deserve, and our brand reputation suffers.

We have even tested purchasing from these third-party sellers and have not received the products. However, if these third-party sellers are indeed selling original products, we would like to understand what steps we can take to address this situation.

We would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue and protecting both our listings and our brand.

Brand Registry should be strong enough to effectively protect the rights of brand owners.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is a great first step for your situation. If you do receive the products and they're something completely different, that will need to be reported through Report Abuse and that path will also need to be followed if the product is the same as yours/you believe it to be counterfeit as you do not have the proper protection role within Brand Registry to have access to Report a Violation.

If you do not receive the products at all, you can report that from the buyer side as well as through the "Report an issue with this product or seller" link under the About this item section on the detail page!
