Food Listing variations: Parent/Child via size of product or via different flavors?
We are a goumet food company.
Product sizes is either gallon or quart. 9 flavors via gallon and 20 flavors via pint.
Some of the flavors are both gallon and quart sizes.
Do we list all our products by size in a listing? Gallons together and quarts together?
Or we put all the sizes of eacg flavor in a listing? One flavor is 70% of our sales. Should we create a parent of that flavor...and 3 different sizes as children. We are concerned if we do this, customers will not see the other 18 flavors.
Next question: 3 packs of different flavors. Do we make each one of those a parent listing? Or do we have a parent listing of 3 PACKS! with the different three packs as child listings?
thanks!!

No. You create a separate listing for every variation.
Example:
- {brand} Ice Cream (Chocolate) (Gallon)
- {brand} Ice Cream (Chocolate) (Pint)
- {brand} Ice Cream (Vanilla) (Gallon)
- {brand} Ice Cream (Vanilla) (Piny)
Then you link together with a Parent - {brand} Ice Cream
No
Yes
You need to study up on Variations in the Help Pages - About parent-child relationships

Hi @Seller_wnFRjcSiv1JKH,
Thanks for reaching out. @Seller_J46Ruz3VzvWCV has provided you with some great information. Each of your products should be created on a separate variation per size. You may find this post helpful as well.
Regards,
Michelle
