We’re facing a frustrating issue with the new AWD + FBA system.
Amazon is blocking our attempt to transfer inventory from AWD to FBA with the message:
"You already have high days of supply for this FNSKU in our fulfillment centers."
Here’s the problem:
The “days of supply” is being calculated based on inventory that’s still in transit to FBA - not what’s actually available to sell. Meanwhile, we have available stock sitting in AWD that we could move to FBA right now, but Amazon won’t allow it because it assumes we’re already well stocked due to the inbound shipments.
In reality, our FBA stock is running out, our AWD stock is blocked, and we’re paying Amazon to store inventory we’re not allowed to move — while losing sales. Support cases have been opened but are stuck with the internal team with no resolution in sight.
When this will be resolved?

Subject: Request for Return of Shipment Due to Amazon Confirmation and Error

Dear Amazon Support,
Before sending my product to FBA, I contacted Amazon to verify whether sending the product was allowed and if there were any issues with the listing. After receiving confirmation from Amazon that there were no issues, I proceeded to ship the product. However, three days after shipping, my listing was unexpectedly deactivated.
Upon discovering this, I immediately reached out to Amazon to explain the situation. Amazon acknowledged the mistake and agreed to reject the shipment and return the product to the sender. I even have a confirmation email from Amazon stating this decision.
Despite this agreement, my product has arrived at the Amazon fulfillment center today, and it has not been checked in yet. Given that Amazon previously confirmed the return and admitted the mistake, I would like to request that my product be sent back to me as originally promised.
Since this situation arose due to Amazon's mistake after I had already sent the product, I believe it is fair to only be charged for the return shipping cost. I kindly ask for your assistance in ensuring that my product is returned to me under these conditions.
I can provide the confirmation email from Amazon as proof, if necessary. Please advise on how to proceed with the return.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

I'm finding AWD to be slooooooow. The check-in process takes forever 6+ weeks and I'm having to ship to FBA to make up for inventory stuck in the AWD process. It's not even worth it.

I want to ask you/amazon something off topic.
How is it possible that customer service can/did refund 20% of an order total without there being a return open? To put this into perspective they refunded $400 on a whim.
Not exactly kosher.

Hello!
New Seller here.
This event came at the right time.
Submitted delivery to AWD this past weekend and selected today, 05/12/25 as the pickup date. When I check this morning to see if there is any update on when the boxes will be picked up, I see that the status is "In Transit". But the boxes were not picked up and I called UPS, and they have no record of a scheduled pickup nor have any Pickup Request Numbers in the system for any of the tracking numbers.

Unfortunately, permissions to get Amazon support is not enabled by default for authorized users and the admin of the accounts has to grant access, and it seems granting such access is not that straight forward, the admin reports they need to search through over 170 individual permissions to find which is specific to getting help. The ones tried so far did not resolve the permissions issues after logging in/out.

Suggestion for the permissions issue: Instead of a basic “contact administrator” message, include a direct link to where the admin needs to go and make the necessary permission changes. Example, grant access HERE. or request access by checking this box and then the admin receives the access request via email or in the seller portal message inbox, and the link is provided in that message for the admin to quickly grant access.
Thank you in advance,
MM_Innovatin team.
