Amazon Is Crushing Small American Businesses — Even When We Follow Every Rule
We are a small American family business trying to do something special — bringing back a classic American board game that was loved 60 years ago. It’s a project I’m reviving together with my daughter, something we are deeply proud of.
We submitted every required test report. We updated every detail Amazon asked us to fix. We did everything exactly by the book. Yet our listing (ASIN: B0F33534J2) has been stuck in endless "review" for over two months under Case ID 17622429441. Every time we ask for help, we’re told the same thing: escalated, escalated, escalated.
At least 20 different times — and still nothing. No activation. No accountability.
It feels intentional. If you are a small business, trying to operate ethically and transparently, you have no real chance here. Amazon's system seems built to bury you under delays until you give up. We are bleeding financially. Our inventory is just sitting. We are running out of time. And unfortunately, Amazon has become a monopoly — if you're not selling here, you’re invisible.
No one at Amazon can explain why it takes months to review simple compliance documents that were perfect from day one.
We are not asking for anything more than fairness. We are not asking for special treatment. We just want a real chance to compete — not to be crushed by endless inaction.

It will not get better. Patience to your limit is the first thing you need to learn about Amazon. Amazon is not friendly to inexperienced sellers and small sellers have a hard time being heard and seen. Even when you get it listed, you will have to spend thousands in advertising or your product can't even be found. Have you considered starting a facebook page and advertising your product there? It's much less expensive and you can do it while you wait for Amazon. But a few thousand in advertising to launch will be unavoidable.

just get your inventory back and move to another platform. They have also left me in a situation that feels very intentional and also delaying resolution until I give up. I’m finally at my straw that they can keep the $30,000 in inventory because what’s the point. They won’t do anything to help.
