Variating Customized Items with their Non-Customized Version using Brand Registry
We are an authorized Reseller for brands that have added us to their Brand Registry for the purpose of Engraving and Customizing their items and selling them through Amazon Custom. They have previously submitted letters that authorized us to create the ASINs using our own GTIN prefixes, however, Amazon's system no longer recognizes the whitelist, and the brands do not understand why they have to keep sending new letters every month.
Secondly, they would like us to VARIATE the Engraved/Custom listings on the Non-Engraved/Not-Customized detail pages. Even though we are Brand Registered for the brand, we are getting errors saying we are not authorized to create the variations due to Brand issues. We have opened cases with mixed results regarding these errors.
Is there an easy whitelisting process where the brand can inform Amazon they want us to do the above to their products and not have to open a case with every listing?

I'm sorry for the delay, these threads are reviewed first in, first out, so it can take some time to reply to individual threads. Regarding your first issue, do you have an example case on this difficultiy creating ASINs? It's likely that your GTINs don't directly tie to the Brand Owner so it's being seen as invalid.
Regarding your second request, this current action is not possible. Per my current understanding, Custom and non-Custom products cannot currently share a detail page due to technical limitations. The system that manages custom products is fairly complicated and cannot be paired with non-custom products. I'm sorry for any difficulties this creates.
In general getting approval to create listings for ASINs you are not the Brand Owner of is not something that can permanently locked in, but I suspect your major error is that the Brand/GTINs cannot be validated which will require review every time.
