Outrageous Behavior from Amazon Customer Service
We have a customer with an order in "pending" status. Amazon customer service has sent us countless messages requesting that we ship the order, and then they will authorize the order from pending, to authorized. This is not how it works. Why is Amazon not understanding how their own platform works? The customer has sent over 25 messages.
Please help.

I am guessing that these messages from Amazon are just Amazon Customer Support passing on messages from the buyer.
If this is the case, Amazon is not actually instructing you to do anything, but just paraphrasing buyer message. Any response goes to the buyer.
You should reply once anyway and explain that you cannot ship the order until it moves out of Pending status.
After that mark messages as No Response Needed.

Hi @Seller_xGoCZWi4ciH8M,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! Happy to see that you have received some great advice here from @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl. Truly appreciate you always taking the time to help, bookwormapril!
Please note that pending orders should not be shipped, even if the buyer contacts you directly. If a buyer contacts you while their order is in 'Pending' status, please refer them to Amazon Customer Service.
If you run into any further issues with this order, I would encourage you to reach out to Seller Support for more direct assistance. If you do open a case, please send me the case ID and I'd be happy to monitor the correspondence!
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
All the best,
Jameson
