It only costs what you pay for your computer time or screen time on a smartphone. I've been on here for years and have never been charged a penny (so far) but I'm sure Amazon is looking for more ways to raise money!
As to WHAT you can say, there are limits. Amazon doesn't like politics, sex, personal attacks, race, religion, and, other 'sensitive' topics.
As far as calling out Amazon for being inept and unmanageable, unreasonable, and incredibly slow and inefficient, have at it!
My current pet peeve with them is their incredibly stupid and poorly designed 'dropshipping' policies where they allow it but DO NOT require dropshippers to have an LOA from EVERY BRAND and proper invoices from authorized wholesale distributors. Their 'selective enforcement' of the "new, improved" policies the rest of us have to meet is disgusting.

Talking 'free' in this forum is a bit of a misnomer. By joining, you’ve already paid your dues as an Amazon seller—you’re contributing fees to Amazon much like buying an airline ticket. Once you’ve paid for your seat, expecting a complimentary soda onboard doesn’t really add up. In the same way, engaging here comes at a cost you’ve already accepted, so it's not really free. :)

Later this year I think Amazon might introduce a "Forum Usage Fee", but as of now I think it is free. We are so lucky.

I'm confused. What does this mean? If you mean "free" as in it doesn't cost anything, then yes.
If you mean freeLY, though, as in free from consequences or constraint, this is a digitally-surveilled world. Unless you are locked in the bathroom with your closest friend and with no devices anywhere near you, you cannot talk freely anywhere.
