Can anyone please help me on the below issue.

I am selling a food item in Canada and Amazon has deleted my product saying violation of the policies.

I have checked all the details and my product never violated any policies or local law.

I opened case and I did not get proper response any case was closed. This is my Case ID 15963153671

Below is the response from Amazon.....

This product has been identified as food product that cannot be listed in the Amazon.ca store. In Canada, prepackaged food products are regulated at the federal level by the Food and Drugs Act (FDA), the Food and Drugs Regulations (FDR), the Safe Food for Canadians Act (SFCA) and the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR). The principal federal government agency charged with ensuring food safety is the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Food products must be labelled with all the information required by applicable Canadian law in both French and English. Required labelling information may include but is not limited to: • Common Name (example, "mayonnaise") • Net Quantity (example, “500 g net quantity / quantité nette 17.6 oz”) • Ingredients • Allergen Information • Name/Place of Business for principal manufacturer • Date Markings (best before date, packaged on date, expiration date, etc., as applicable) • Nutrition Facts Table (See Health Canada’s Steps for Choosing a Nutrition Facts table for examples) • Country of Origin For more information on labelling requirements please see the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s Food labelling requirements checklist:

Why is this happening?

We took this action because this product is not permitted for sale on Amazon.ca. It is your obligation to make sure the products you offer comply with all applicable laws, regulations and Amazon's policies.

What actions do I need to take?

Go to your "Account Health" page and review the violation for any relevant actions or information required to bring product into compliance.

What happens if I fail to follow the above instructions?

Failure to properly close or delete all restricted product listings from your inventory may result in the deactivation of your selling account and funds may be permanently held.

Have you received this notification in error?

If you believe there has been an error, submit an explanation through your "Account Health" page by clicking “Appeal” next to the impacted ASIN and following the instructions provided. Your explanation should include how the listings have not violated our Restricted Products policies.

Hello @Seller_mIBWkM1kcqEop,

Thanks for posting your inquiry. I've reviewed the details of your case. Your product has been restricted and you must apply the following: "Food products must be labelled with all the information required by applicable Canadian law in both French and English."

I would recommend that you update your product packaging using this requirement.

If you have updated as such and still running into difficulties, let me know and I'll look into seeing what options exist for escalation.

Regards,

- Manny
