We have Brand Registry and are selling our own products under our own brand but Amazon is demanding we provide an LOA and invoices within 15 days or thousands of units from hundreds of SKUs will be destroyed. What kind of madness is this and what is the logic behind it?

What in the world are we supposed to do when faced with an illogical and impossible demand? How do we satisfy the bot?

How are you sourcing your products? Are you manufacturing your products or purchasing them from a manufacture or supplier?

Even if you own the product under your brand, you must submit documents that demonstrate the authenticity of your inventory.

Sellers can submit the following documents:

  1. Invoices and receipts. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASINs under review.
  2. Supplier information including the supplier name, supplier phone number, supplier address, and website.
  3. Item descriptions.
  4. Item quantities.
  5. Import or export documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  6. Brand letters authorizing your use of third-party intellectual property.

Please select what option works best with how you are sourcing your products.

You can rest easy knowing that these items will not be "destroyed."

In cases like this, Amazon offloads the stuff to liquidators and other resellers, OR they sell it themselves.

It will find a happy home. 😁

Be cool and analyze what you could offer, what you can not yet. There is nothing could be worry at all If you are a normal seller. But if you are following some lisiting... it could a trouble.

I am dealing with this as well! I am the manufacturer and brand owner, selling under my registered brand name. I do not invoice myself or provide myself a packing list before I send to FBA. The only thing I could provide them are the invoices for the bags and header cards I use to package my products. I am not giving Amazon a list of raw materials used so they can have a recipe for my "secret sauce", if you will. It is none of their business HOW I manufacture my products.

Common sense will tell you that if I sent a 12 lb box in and each of my products weighs anywhere from .25 oz-1.6 oz, there is no way I could have just sent 38 units for that to equal 1 box. Whoever was working in the warehouse just didn't open all of the boxes I used to separate the different skus.

Its infuriating!!! Just go check my FBA bin and you will see!

I have had a support ticket open for 3 almost 4 days now and I haven't heard a single word back from Amazon.
