Not This Time: Black Friday Deal Unavailable for This Item
We sell products in our stores, but recently, we launched a new product with no review ratings. My question is: does Amazon allow us to apply a Black Friday deal? Our listing has been active for the last 100 days with a reference price of $49.99. We applied a 20% off deal, but Amazon suppressed it, stating there is no reference price.

it is a heck of a lot easiest just to go to your listing and put the item on sale. Works instantly with no problem. You put in the new price, and Amazon shows the price as a % reduction.

Thanks for the post @Seller_hy8XEFdG9W3Nv-- and welcome to the seller forums community!
You can see if an ASIN is eligible for event consideration in two places:
- On the Deals dashboard, the event options are in the Date column drop down.
- As part of creating a new Deal choose the desired event when you select Schedule for the Deal.
If you do not see the event available in the Schedule, your ASIN currently does not meet the criteria to be considered for the event. You can find some further information on this through our Deals for Events help page!
If the reference price appears to be an issue, you can find instructions for showing a reference price on your products by providing a List Price, and you may find value in reviewing Amazon's Policy on Reference Prices.
I hope this information proves useful, and thanks again for checking in with us here in the forums!
Best,
Danny
